Why my server doesn't show up on server list?

I've been told to open my ports or forward my ports, but how do I do that?

I'm not entirely sure how because im on Roadrunner cable ^-^'

You have to open ports..... on the firewall

yeah you need to go into router settings and find the option "port forawding"

and open: 7790, 7791, 7791, 27900 ,8777

You need to open that ports for the UDP protocol, not TCP.

okay, now for another stupid question;

how do i get into my router settings?

normally it works by just putting in my IP address, but not this time. are there any other ways?

Normally you need to put your router's IP address. It's also your gateway address.

yeah. go to command prompt. type ipconfig. and the default gateway is what to enter.

portforward.com, choose your router, and follow instructions

Well. To Host An Internet Server You Must Not Have Laptop And You Must Have A Wire Of Internet. Mobile Internet And etc Can't Host It. So... Do You Have A Laptop? If You Do You Can Only Host A LAN Server.

Actually, I was able to access the router options and open the required ports completely. I can host my server regardless of my laptop and wireless net.
